INFORMER: The History of American Crime and Law Enforcement

Summaries of all issues

With the release of Issue 34 in November 2024, Informer has published a total of 3,036 magazine pages over the course of sixteen years. The journal was named Informer: The Journal of American Mafia History from Issue 1 (September 2008) through Issue 8 (July 2010). It has been named Informer: The History of American Crime and Law Enforcement since Issue 9 (October 2010). Issues 1 through 15 were published from New Milford, Connecticut. Subsequent issues were published from Whiting, Vermont. Informer was released quarterly until 2013. Three issues were released in 2013, three were released in 2014, two were released in 2015, and single issues were released for the years 2016-2024. All issues of the journal remain available in print magazine (ISSN: 1943-7803) and electronic magazine (ISSN: 1944-8139) editions through the MagCloud print-on-demand service. Issues 12, 22, 29-34 are also available through Amazon.com as Kindle-compatible e-books. Issues 30-34 are available through Amazon.com as printed 6"x9" paperback books (issues 32-34 are also available as hardcover books) and through Google Play Books as EPUB-compatible e-books.
